About:
Hello. My name is Charlotte, and I am the Deputy Manager. I hold a level 5 Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies.
I started working in childcare in 2012, when my passion for working with children began. Since graduating in 2018, I have worked hard to progress into senior roles. I have also achieved my level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and love exploring the outdoors. I believe the outdoors offers additional learning opportunities for children to experience new things which they may not be able to experience indoors.
I absolutely love working with children. My goal of the day is to ensure that the children leave happy and have progressed in their learning, even if only by a little. I believe safe and enabling environments help to achieve this. I encourage children to be independent and I enjoy watching them grow and develop. Being part of their learning journey is rewarding and something I am very passionate about.

Michelle Wilson
Forest School Facilitator and Outdoor Provision Coordinator
Qualifications:
Certificate in Childcare and Education
Forest School Level 3
Outdoor First Aid
About:
I'm Michelle, Forest School Facilitator and Outdoor Provision Coordinator here at The Early Learning Camp HQ.
Before joining this wonderful team at The Early Learning Camp, I have recently relocated back to the UK after 7 years in Catalonia, where I worked as an Early years teacher, forest school consultant and beach/forest school facilitator in a trilingual pre-school.
I have a passion for languages, accents and embrace learning from cultures, There are some local Catalan traditions and cuisines celebrating seasonal produce throughout the year that I continue to celebrate and practice. I enjoy cycling and walking, and when I'm not hiking up mountains in the Pyrenees or wild swimming, I’m in the garden plotting my next move. If I'm not out enjoying nature you'll find me rummaging in dusty vintage shops or car boot markets looking for curiosities.
Here at the Early Learning camp we want all the children to explore the joy and freedom of exploring through play whilst celebrating all the seasons and re-connecting to the natural world.
My background in curating Arts programming for schools allows me to facilitate invitations to enable children to grow and flourish, and giving them time and space to develop is so important for independence and resilience, while I also hope to build a sense of community to our sessions a real connection and understanding to the local environment and the world around us.
I will be connecting the children to nature through all the seasons. Anything you teach in an indoor classroom can be taught outdoors, often in ways that can be more enjoyable for some children with less constraints.
